I just wanted to acknowledge the new followers to this blog and thank you for taking an interest in my various musings. A day never passes without a yearning to create and to be noticed makes it even more enjoyable. So, I thought it was time to express my appreciation, to you, to mark the changing season and the upcoming Tricks and Treats and post a free draw. The prizes (I can't only have one winner) will be a selection of ATC's from my Eleanor series. Below is my most recent Eleanor, but there are 38 others here to choose from. These will be digital but may end up being fabric, or embellished with charms, or whatever stirs the muse. Thanks again. Draw date will be October 31st. Please make sure you provide some method of contact so I can email you for your address and add your name to my follower's list!

Your creativity never astonishes me.
The colours are so autumn in this one and if one does not watch out, it is easy to miss the human figure (composed of old papers?) that becomes part of her Eleanor's hair. Even the bat on the lower right as a seal hits the mark, as does the her right shoulder being a head.
I also notice the name Sophie on the very top under the calligraphy, but then I could be reading tea leaves.
Congratulations on the series.
Enjoy the week

I think that all of your pieces are amazing. I don't know how you come up with so many ideas.
Seth gently guided me to your blogspot and I have a small angel named Rosie...yorkie/maltese dog and guardian for the last eight years. Your Eleanor series is awe inspiring and I will be following you and your journey when I get the opportunity. The Day of the Dead is a wonderful celebration of living with our ancestors. Your Eleanors are wonderful Trudi, this one is no exception either! Fancy that the girl still rocks after centuries. I love day of the dead but of course no-one celebrates it here, sigh. I will have to live vicariously through all the other bloggers out there, LOL!
Ohhh, I would love one of your give aways.
Trudi it would be a thrill to have one of your ATC's in my collection!
Wow, I really did miss that human figure the first time. I think you do wonderful collages; they look so purposeful, every element essential, instead of randomized scrappage on a theme. You're my melanging hero!:D
