Bantockish - digital 15 x 10 inches
Nick Bantock has been one of my favorite collage artists for years. Ever since the publications of the Griffin and Sabine Trilogy. In 2007 and 2008 I attended workshops with Nick in his studio in Salt Spring Island, one of my most favorite destinations.

I was sorting art books up in the studio and Nick's book was the one that I just sat down with and looked at again. How funny, that we were on "the same page" kinda. lol :)Bea
oh my goodness-- I was reading along admiring your image and remembering how long I have admired Nick Bantock and how jealous I was that you took 2 workshops from him when I read my name-- was so surprised-- you combined all the imagery very well.

Nick Bantock really is the guru of collage and imagination, how wonderful that you were able to study with him. Your work is wonderful and very reminiscent of his style. Cheers!
