I am quite certain, I enjoy the 'landscape' of these photos as much, if not more than the actual page! To me, they reflect the feel and experience of creating them better than the finished piece does. Oh what to do about that?  I've been watching videos and learning how to embroider, again (after the 'hippy' days when I used to embroider on my boyfriend's jean shirts!)  Now, hmmm....close to 40 years later, I'm back at it.

Hand work is something that makes a piece so special and I'm having to learn it all over again too. I love this piece and the quote. btw My 87 yr old aunt still has an embroidered piece I did 50 years ago. I was 6 yrs old. Isn't that something.

Hmmmm . . . maybe there's hope for my embroidery skills too because I totally remember embroidering on jeans and shirts too! (Mostly, I remember poked fingers and tangled threads!) I digress . . .

Seriously, Trudi, all of your beautiful embroidery skills and embellishments have combined to create a magical piece. It's gorgeous! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I love to embroider. My fingers get too stiff these days and it's uncomfortable to do. I do use my fancy machine embroidery stitches but they never have the loft and feel that I like with hand work.
Very pretty page. I can tell you are enjoying yourself while you work on it. :)Bea

This is such a fantastic piece. And the way in which you captured it in photographs is stunning. No...spectacular. Okay both!!
