Handmade Card by Lorraine StobieI don't know anyone in the blogger/mixed media/arts community who doesn't LOVE to receive packages of art in the mail. The process of seeing it in the mail box, studying the envelope, and anticipating....it can make a day and even a week. Whether it's a personal exchange or the outcome of a finished round robin, or just a thoughtful card or note from a friend. But, when it's a SURPRISE and it's packed full of HANDMADE screen printed, dyed and stamped fabrics along with a beautiful card and it arrives a couple of days short of my birthday, then THAT, is just too good to be true. And as you can see below, a very thoughtful and talented woman (aka as Lorraine) elated me with ALL OF THIS yesterday .....
