Waiting for a Second Life and Seeking the Right Mentor

Share --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The  lovely doll heads arrived just before Christmas, the other elements - just a varied collection of  objects waiting to shine again...I'm sending out intentions of creating some assemblage et al this year, keeping these planted in that still underdeveloped 3D part of my artful musings.   One of my goals this year will be to seek out a teacher in assemblage whose work I admire - any suggestions??

THANK YOU for playing the word game...your presence is always appreciated and adds to the frivolity of the raucous logophile party!
MMMMM
those are intriguing!

A face, a mind...full of thoughts...acting as doorknobs...opening doors to new spaces..new memories...new experiences...

Will we see what they see or saw? Or will these experiences be uniquely our own?

are you asking how to adhere them?

What fantastic shots! Love the pairing of these and your blog is fabulous. Glad I found you!

For myself I think Keith LoBue is both a great teacher and is my favorite artist. But he may not be the artist whose work most speaks to you.

I LOVE these doll heads-- you got them for xmas?
There is an artist I know who does fabulous assemblage who lives in Michigan or Minnesota-- Annie Morgan-- she used to teach at Dillmans.
www.dillmans.com they might know how to find her. I will try to find out if she is still teaching.

Greetings Trudi,

It is interesting to see that you too are expanding into assemblage art.
I have a collection of links to blogs and websites of assemblage artists that I can send you to have a look at.

Best wishes,
Egmont
