Gilding the Lily.....

Share --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This weekend was a typical "May Long" - although there wasn't any snow, it was cold with temperatures sticking around the low teens....not really condusive to gardening....unless you have fur-lined gardening gloves!  So, instead of my plans to visit the greenhouses and pick up my annual flowers, I ended up spending more time adding beads and embroidering two cloth collages that I am creating for a publication that will be out in September.  Seems like such a long ways away, but they have to be sent off the first week in June.

Here's a few " macros" of what I accomplished....

Take care,
PS a publication in September? Do tell! I can't wait!

The texture on these pieces is just incredible. I'm sure you will give us the publications name just prior to it being published.

This is outstanding work.
