On Monday evening I watched an update along with an older documentary on the contraversy and incidence of pedophilia in the Catholic church - The Passionate Eye. The disturbing details of this program weighed heavily on my mind this week and eventually culminated on the creation of the collage below.

Wished I would have seen this documentary too, but something alike will be shown in the german TV this evening.

I left the church when I was 14 , so I won't make a comment on the issue, but your piece is so very powerful and intriguing all at once, you really captured it!
I haven't watched the documentary yet. I know I'll find it disturbing. As artists we express our feelings through our art. You have done a grand job with this piece.

Those very sensitive topics quite often lead to the best inspirational creative moments. I can imagine how it churned around in your head. There is quite a brooding powerful feel to the piece which is great!

Having survived the abuse of a parent, hearing the news only opens the wounds that have tried to heal these last twenty-five years.
When we had our two children, I made sure the cycle was wold not continue and I have fulfilled that promise.

I love this digital! It certainly portrays the unspeakable acts that the documentary spoke of. I have been so sickened by the betrayal of these poor people, religion. I can hardly believe the news about it each day. It just gets worse and worse. Your digital definitely hit the nail on the head so to speak. I love how you used your talent to express your horror.
