This is a page in my Altered Book - Alphabetica - The Journey. It is a combination of layers of pasted ephemera, vintage postage stamps, Golden liquid acrylics, matte medium, followed by a translucent layer of more images , then scanned and text added digitally. Apart from both being Nobel laureates, Drs. Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin also shared a passionate love for music. Dr. Franklin was an accomplished musician mastering several instruments and invented the armonica. Yes "armonica" it isn't a typo! Einstein loved his violin, and each were avid J.S. Bach fans. Einstein is quoted as saying had he not become a scientist, he'd have been a musician. I find it fascinating to consider the possibilities for collaborative efforts had they both lived within the same century.

Love your page - and yes, isn´t it amazing how many scientists (especially physicians) have been good musicians?
Wonderful page!!
I love this Trudi. I am now in the market for beautiful fonts. After you add your words digitally - then you make your print from computer? I think this is so elegant.
