I made a different version of this for Marsha of TumbleFish Studio as a 'pretend' cover for her memoirs...just playing. I can't recall right now the name of the master who painted the fabulous figure...if you know it, please leave a comment so I can leave credit.
Image Credit UPDATE - Thanks to Linda, a wonderful artist, great friend, and art history expert, who answered my question as follows:
"St. Catherine of Alexandria by Raphael, she is looking toward the divine light rays coming from the sky and she is leaning on the wheel of Martyrdom that have been rounded so as not to hurt as much - apparently..."
The other image are available at www.DeviantScrap.com and the heart, background and wings are HolliewoodStudios - Love and War, and Art Dollies, the Hat and Fish - from Tumblefish Studio

Fabulous Trudi, love all of it!
The wings are my favorite part of this image. They are so luminous and fairy like. Sort of a cross between a fairy and a dragonfly. Wonderful!
I love this. You are so good. There is sadness and humor all rolled into one here.
Might I just say . . . . FABULOUS!!! Classic tongue in cheek and just perfect for Miss Marsha's Memoirs of a Tumblefish Mama!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
wonderful Trudi, love the way you worked the fish in there!!
Can't help you on this one but the wings are beautiful.

Love this very much! Can't resist an image that has a heart on at the best of times, but this pushes lots of buttons for me!
Oh how I love this! It is the most divine creation I've ever seen. I am smitten. The wings are amazing. Penny x
